There are significant differences between spring damping shock absorbers of different models, and these differences are mainly reflected in the materials and working principles that produce damping.
From the perspective of materials, there are mainly hydraulic, pneumatic and variable damping types. Hydraulic shock absorbers are the most common type and are widely used in automobile suspension systems. The principle is that when the oil flows back and forth in the shock absorber housing, the friction between the liquid and the inner wall and the internal friction between the liquid molecules is used to form a damping force, thereby absorbing the vibration of the vehicle during driving.
The characteristic of pneumatic shock absorbers is their internal structure. The lower part of the cylinder is equipped with a floating piston and a closed air chamber filled with high-pressure nitrogen. The valve on the working piston changes the channel cross-sectional area according to the movement speed to produce different damping forces. This design performs particularly well in dealing with different road conditions, providing good stability and comfort for the vehicle.
Variable damping shock absorbers are more intelligent. They can automatically adjust the damping stiffness according to road conditions to adapt to different driving conditions. For example, when the vehicle is driving on a flat road, the damping force will increase to make the vehicle more stable; when encountering a bumpy road, the damping force will decrease to absorb the impact and improve the ride comfort.
In addition, although different types of damping spring shock absorbers have similar functions, they differ in appearance and installation methods. For example, closed, suspended, vertical, shockproof, limited and metal rubber types provide damping through different principles to reduce the vibration from the equipment to the foundation. They can be found in many vibration equipment, can withstand large weights, and users can choose according to actual needs.
